Follow the Light
Chase the lights at lightning speed. Who catches them fastest?
Rules
1Select game no. 1 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground now shows a route of lights. Watch closely and try to remember the order of the lights!
3When the edge flashes, it is your turn to jump the route. Jump on the wrong tile? Then you are out. The route gets longer and more challenging with every level.
ScoringDoes the route have 2 tiles and do you throw the balls correctly? Then you earn 2 points. A route with 10 tiles is worth…? Exactly, 10 points!
Turn off the light
Everybody jump! The lit tiles need to be switched off as fast as possible.
Rules
1Select game no. 2 on the Solar Playground.
2Lights appear on different tiles of the Solar Playground. Watch closely and jump on the lights quickly!
3The more lights you jump on, the more points you score.
4See one square? Jump once. See two squares? Jump twice. See three squares? Jump three times. But watch out: red squares appear too, and if you touch one, you are out!
Scoring1 square = 1 point
2 squares = 2 points
3 squares = 3 points, and so on.
Times Table Trainer 1
Maths boring? Absolutely not! Solve the sum and jump on the right answer before time runs out.
Rules
1Select game no. 3 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground now shows different sums from the 1, 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
3Jump on the right answer in the second row of tiles. Keep an eye on the time! Once you have the right answer, jump across the Solar Playground and start again or rejoin the queue.
4Playing in a group? If you answer wrong, you are out. The last one standing is the winner!
ScoringEvery correct answer is worth 1 point. Think carefully 😉
Times Table Trainer 2
Ready for the next level? Solve the sum and jump on the right answer before time runs out. Can you beat the highscore?
Rules
1Select game no. 4 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground now shows different sums from the 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 times tables.
3Once you have the right answer, jump across the Solar Playground and start again or rejoin the queue.
4Playing in a group? If you answer wrong, you are out. The last one standing is the winner!
ScoringEvery correct answer is worth 1 point. Think carefully 😉
Snake
The snake is hungry. Feed it as much as you can by jumping on the right tiles. Who can grow the longest snake?
Rules
1Select game no. 5 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground now shows a green ‘snake’ and a white square (the apple!). The goal is to make the snake eat the apple so it grows longer.
3Steer the snake using the four middle ‘control’ tiles on the outer ring: left, right, up and down.
ScoringEvery apple the snake eats is worth 1 point, and you will see the snake grow longer!
Noughts and Crosses
Noughts and Crosses with a modern twist. Who gets three in a row first?
Rules
1Select game no. 6 on the Solar Playground.
2Stand around the Solar Playground and play a game of noughts and crosses together.
3Blue goes first. Double-tap the tile where you want to place your blue icon. Then it is pink’s turn to place their icon.
4Take turns until one player has three in a row. Win three rounds to win the game!
GoalGet three icons of your colour in a row and win the game!
ScoringThe score is the number of games played on the Solar Playground.
Space Battle
Fire lasers at your opponent’s spaceship and try not to get hit yourself!

Rules
1Select game no. 7 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground shows the start screen for player 1 (pink) and player 2 (green).
3Pick a side and wait for your spaceship to appear. Aim with the two outer tiles and fire at your opponent’s side with the middle tile.
GoalThe goal of the game is to hit your opponent with your laser. When you do, you earn 1 point. You can use the blue space blocks for cover, but they can be destroyed too.
ScoringEvery time you hit your opponent, you earn 1 point. Reach 2 points to win the game!
Sequence Jump
A real brainteaser. Break the highscore by jumping on the tiles in the right order.
Rules
1Select game no. 8 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground starts and shows a sequence of 8 numbers. Step by step, select the sequence from the starting number (yellow) up to the highest number.
3If the order is correct, you get a new one.
4There is one number that does not belong in the sequence.
GoalWork out the sequence and jump in the right order.
ScoringEvery correct sequence = 1 point.
Memory
A real brain workout. Break the highscore by jumping on the tiles in the right order.
Rules
1Select game no. 9 on the Solar Playground.
2The Solar Playground shows 4 pairs and then the tiles go dark. Can you remember where the pairs were?
3Select the pairs one by one and check whether you got it right.
4The tile without a pair shows the time and the number of lives left (yellow blocks).
GoalRemember the positions of the 4 pairs.
ScoringEvery pair found correctly = 1 point.
Dino jump
Dodge the fireballs by jumping on the tiles. Watch out you don’t get caught by the dinos!
Rules
1Select game no. 10 on the Solar Playground.
2Gather up to 4 friends around the Solar Playground and wait for the countdown. 1-2-3-4, the game begins!
3Jump your dino (white) over the fireballs (yellow/red). They move around the outer ring of the Solar Playground and come back towards you. The player who stays in the game the longest wins.
GoalJump over the fireballs and stay in the game as long as possible.
ScoringThe score is based on the number of successful jumps over the fireballs.
