Last week, in collaboration with Urban Network Solutions, we made sure the children at Paddington Childcare in Bedum could once again enjoy playing on the Solar Playground. Our floors are packed with technology, which sometimes presents challenges that we address daily with a dedicated team of people. The sustainable floor gets children moving without the need for supervision, effectively turning the Solar Playground into a teaching assistant on the schoolyard.
The school can monitor on the dashboard how much solar energy their Solar Playground has generated and view the scores of the games played. At more than 50 schools across the Netherlands, the Solar Playground is an integral part of the curriculum. The interactive play equipment helps children continuously improve their motor and cognitive skills. It makes math fun and encourages cooperative play. In the future, we plan to expand this offering. Plans are already in progress, and we’ll share more information as soon as it becomes available.
